If you and/or the tenant are a Premium Member, you can contact each other without restriction and discuss freely.
You can click on the ‘Discuss the reservation’ button to discuss with the tenant via the site’s internal messaging system, or on the “Refuse” button if you do not wish to accommodate the tenant.
When you refuse a rental application, you can explain the reasons for your refusal by writing a personalised message so that the tenant is informed.
You can also ask the tenant to pay for their reservation directly online, by clicking on “Pre-accept”.
If you do not respond within 48 hours after the tenant’s request, the request will automatically expire.
If neither of you are a Premium member, there are restrictions on who you can contact, but you have the choice of:
- Upgrading to a Premium membership
- Asking the tenant to upgrade
- In certain cases, you can click “Pre-accept” so that the tenant can pay directly online for their reservation, if you do not feel the need to discuss before accepting
