If neither you nor the person you are messaging is a Connect member, it is not possible for you to send your details through Roomlala's messenger. Thus, if our system detects words or numbers that look like contact details (for example, your last name, date of birth, phone number, email address), this information will be automatically hidden.
Warning: if our team of moderators detects too many attempts to exchange contact details, your conversation will be blocked. To learn more, click here.
How can I get the contact information of the landlord or tenant I am messaging?
- You can exchange as many messages as you want through Roomlala's messenger before the reservation is confirmed.
Once the reservation is accepted, the contacted person's full name, phone number, email address and home address, if they are landlords, are automatically displayed in your conversation (on the left-hand column). They are also sent to you in the reservation confirmation email (if they were originally entered by the landlord).
- If you feel that it is essential for you to exchange your contact details before the reservation to plan a meeting or a visit, you can become a Connect member. You will then be able to freely exchange your contact details through our messenger.
Good to know: if you are a tenant, the cost of the Connect Pass is deducted from your rental when you reserve online.

We do everything possible to secure our platform and ensure reliable users. However, be careful: communicating outside Roomlala or paying by other means outside our platform may be risky.
We strongly recommend that you only communicate through Roomlala. Reserving directly through our platform allows you to benefit from a secure payment platform, user support and included insurance.
