For long-term rentals, we send you a payment notice (or also called a rent notice) each month, as well as payment reminders, during the week before the payment due date.
If you haven't paid by the due date, we will inform your landlord of your overdue rent and it would be likely that they will contact you to understand the reasons why and ask you to proceed with the payment.
Only late for a few days? Proceed anyway with online payment immediately.
It's rare, but it is still possible that despite our reminders by email, your tenant could still forget to pay their rent. If you realized that you have just missed the deadline by a few days, you can always go back to your Payment timeline and click "Pay". The landlord will automatically be informed that you paid and it was just a slight delay. You will also receive the rent receipt right after you pay.
Having difficulties paying your rent?
Note that even as you have rights as a tenant, you also have responsibilities which include paying your rent on time. We recommend you learn about and understand the risks involved with unpaid rent by researching online.
If you're really having trouble, the first thing you should do is discuss it with your landlord. Communicating with them is a sign of good faith, and maybe they can even help you or give you some assistance.
Also note that social assistance can be granted under certain conditions depending on the country.
